Ceramic Design BA programme aims at training creative professionals who can design and create individual objects, small and large series products and sets, as well as preparing students for the master programme. The main pillars of the curriculum are theory-based workshop and studio activities, firing and kiln workshops. Students of BA programme are expected to have strong 3D and 2D drawing skills, a good sense of proportion, form, and creative approach. Led by internationally recognized artists, a 3 years long creative visual education introduces students into ceramic design techniques and methods. It offers basic training in studio ceramics and design applications, making material realization of designs possible. The curriculum is enriched by international competitions and exhibitions, cooperative projects involving various departments of the university, firing practices and summer workshops, and a lively community spirit.
