Our Design Institute exhibited at the Stockholm Furniture Fair for the fourth time

This year, the department successfully participated as an exhibitor at the well-known Swedish design fair in February, where the works of undergraduate and master's students were presented
During the several-day fair, there was an opportunity to build relationships and introduce the major, and the students could also receive feedback on their work in a high-quality professional environment.
The stand was created under the leadership of associate professor Péter Vető, with the assistance of alumni designers Dávid Salamon and Áron Lőrincz.
Visitors could view 19 works by 19 students.

We can personally observe how the natural environment, formed over millions of years, is completely transformed by the influence of the last two hundred years. How can photography and the visual arts respond to the crisis appearing on several fronts? Krzysztof Candrowicz, an interdisciplinary curator, sociologist, researcher, and activist, was a guest of the Photography MA course and gave a lecture on this in the spring semester of 2024, between April 2-5.
